Hand-picked early in the morning from the small Cananga Odorata trees, the yellow-gold delicate flowers that grow only on the islands of Reunion and Comoros, Zanzibar and Nossi-Bé, are reminiscent of sea anemones often woven into fragrant garlands by the young girls of Tonga. The intense scent of Ylang-Ylang , "the flower of flowers", with its long, tapered petals and unmistakably sweet, powdery, floral, intense and radiant scent, is elegantly complemented by a bouquet of frangipani, Jasmine , orange and tiare blossoms.
