Blue Suede Shoes does not just refer to blue suede or, as is usually said, suede shoes - but also a legendary piece of music history. The rock 'n' roll song of the same name by Carl Perkins was released in 1956 and is one of the most successful singles ever. That same year, the King, Elvis Presley, recorded a slightly faster cover version.
Although it wasn't even planned as a single, it ended up in the singles charts and made the song world famous. With a lot of humor, the lyrics are about someone who absolutely loves his blue suede shoes, because in the lyrics he demands, among other things: to: “Do whatever you want, knock me out, burn my house, steal my car… but just kick
