It smells bitter, tart and spicy, like the wind of the sandy deserts of Morocco. Gao captures exactly this quality of saffron and combines the already exotic fragrance with the finest Oud from Thailand and Laos. If Gao were a color, it would be as black as a starless night. The blend of Indian nut grass, cedar juniper and gurjum, which predominates in the heart note, becomes one with the spice and wood notes. An illusion of Arabian spice markets arises.
